Welcome to the Independent Higher Education Annual Conference 2025

We are back for the second year in Westminster, where the winds of political change are blowing through the grand halls and corridors of One Great George Street. The Labour Party’s general election victory has seen a new wave of political priorities and personalities break on the shores of SW1. What this sea change means for the independent higher education sector will be the underlying theme of many of today’s sessions, and doubtless the conversations in between.

We are using rooms across three floors of the venue. One Great George Street has an ongoing programme of accessibility improvements. Please visit the venue’s website for further details about access points. If you have accessibility needs, please inform a member of the event team on arrival.
If you have any questions or require assistance on the day, please visit the registration desk on the first floor where a member of the event team will be able to help you.
The registration desk is on the first floor. Delegates should register on arrival at the venue. All delegates will be provided with a name badge, which must be worn at all times.

Please follow One Great George Street’s safety regulations in the event of a fire. For fire evacuation purposes it is a legal requirement that disabled delegates register with reception.
